OMNIDIRECTIONAL OR DIRECTIONAL, HERE'S HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT ANTENNA.

Discover the difference between Omnidirectional and directional DVBT TV antennas

Directional antennas work most efficiently in a specific direction. Thanks to an internal electric motor activated by remote control, the antenna can be positioned to pinpoint the angle of reception which is least affected by reflected signals caused by natural obstacles, and gives the maximum possible gain. Glomex directional TV antennas ensure reception of analogue and digital terrestrial TV signals, and can be oriented using a handy infra-red remote control.

Unlike the directional type, omnidirectional antennas have a wider angle of reception, receiving TV signals from 360°; moreover, while directional antennas receive only direct TV signals, the omnidirectional type can also pick up reflected signals.  On boats, the omnidirectional antenna's wide angle of reception compensates for loss of signal quality caused by rolling, pitching and sloping.
