The TV satellite antennas of Glomex are refurbished in technology and performance: the new HPD (High Performance Dish) parabolic dishes with flanged LNB, combined with the innovative software for signal research, allow the compensation of quality losses due to satellite multiplication on the terrestrial orbit and to transmission on same frequency.

Pandora is the new TV satellite antenna in the range and has been developed to offer the best relation between quality and price without reducing the high performance. With compact dimensions (dish diameter 420 mm/18’’) and low energy consumption (12 VDC 1,5 A/h,) it represents the ideal choice for TV watching on board, because it offers the best compromise between contained shape and performance. Pandora is equipped with an efficient compensation system (for boat roll and pitch) by means of electronic gyro-stabilizers (EGS), and with a single coaxial rotating joint (CRJ), allowing the antenna to balance the reception of the signal by turning infinitely on the azimuth axis, since no coaxial cable wrapping is needed. Easy to install, thanks to a single coaxial cable (SCC)  connecting the antenna directly to the TV-set without opening the radome, it does not require any other compensation or calibration adjustment. Pandora, with its three preloaded satellites (ASTRA1, ASTRA2, HOTBIRD) easy selectable on the control unit, can be swiftly updated by means of the SD card reader (the same used for the use of memory cards for digital photo-cameras), by downloading new satellites or free software updates.
