This data, which is necessary in order to use the web services, is also processed for the purpose of:
– obtaining statistical information on the use of the services (most visited pages, number of visitors by time slot or by day, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
– checking that the services offered are functioning correctly.
Data provided by the user: the visitor/user is not required to enter any personal data on the website, with the exception of the areas dedicated to the “CONTACT US” and “NEWSLETTER” services, at the user’s free choice, where a specific dedicated privacy notice is provided.
Should the visitor/user, in order to access the services available on this website, decide to send their personal data by completing the forms located in the area of the website dedicated to those services, the controller will process that data in order to provide the requested service, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and with the specific notices provided at the time of sign-up.
Data may also be received from users who send requests for information to the email addresses indicated on the website; such data will be processed using IT and/or electronic tools, with organisational and logical arrangements strictly related solely to the purpose of performing the service or task requested, by the controller or, in some cases, by the persons involved in the organisation of the controller’s activities and appointed by the controller (administrative staff, support staff, sales staff or IT system administrators).
The controller adopts appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access to, disclosure, modification or destruction of such personal data.
Legal basis for the processing
The legal basis for the processing of the data you provide by completing the forms is the potentially pre-contractual requirement expressed by sending the query and/or the request for information, quotations or orders.
Recipients or categories of recipients of the data
Browsing data is handled solely by technical staff appointed to carry out the processing, or by persons appointed to perform occasional maintenance operations. No data obtained from the web service is communicated or disseminated.

An up-to-date list of the data processors may be requested from the data controller at any time.
Retention period
The data provided by the user in order to register in the contacts area is retained for as long as is required by the purposes for which it was collected.
Browsing data is deleted immediately after being aggregated (save for any need for the Authorities to investigate criminal offences).
Optional nature of providing the data
The provision of data by the users/visitors of the website is always optional; however, if the data marked as “mandatory” within the request forms is not submitted, GLOMEX s.r.l. will not be able to provide the user with the information or services requested on each occasion.
